Quite often family businesses do not make big leaps but my interviewee Harry Singer bucks the trend with Singer Instruments. Harry grew up with business deeply in his upbringing as the 3^rd generation to run his business. His family holidays were usually centred around a scientific conference and he thrived being ale to take part in his father’s work from the age of 6.

What comes across strongly is how much Harry cares about the wider personal and professional lives of his employees.
